Hi! I am Alexandra Espinhal, a passionate makeup artist specializing in film, TV series, and special effects. I bring characters to life with creativity, precision, and a deep love for transformation.
My journey into the world of makeup started with a fascination for artistic transformation. Originally from Aveiro, I first studied chemistry and worked in a laboratory before realizing that my true passion was makeup. I trained at Atelier Patrícia Lima’s Makeup Forever, and since 2007, I’ve been working in film, television, and advertising, helping bring stories to life through makeup and special effects.
Over the years, I’ve had the honor of working with renowned public figures and major productions, refining my skills in beauty and prosthetics. My dedication to my craft has led to incredible experiences, including receiving an Emmy Award for Best International TV Series and recognition from the Portuguese Academy of Cinema.
Beyond film and television, I’ve collaborated on high-profile advertising campaigns for brands like American Express, JEEP, and VISA. Whether it’s creating striking cinematic characters or enhancing natural beauty for commercial shoots, I approach every project with passion, precision, and a strong creative vision.
